Whatever happened to... Ipso's?
Ipsos....I think
Ipsos....i think
They were small fruit and mint flavoured sweets in a box that had sides like lego so you could join them all together.

Yes they were great - I actually just came across this site because I decided after 25 years to google them to see if they were still available - I had all 4 colours in my lego collection when I was a kid - and I remember liking strawberry the very best :)

Ipso's
I am sure that I can remember a sweet from the 70's called Ipso's.
The were little sweets that came in a box. I have no idea who made them but I do remember them coming in different flavours and they had a very strong sweet smell. Does anyone else remember these little boxes of delights?

Ipso's were made by Nicholas Products who are now Sara Lee. They also made those whistle lollies aswell. My mum used to work there years ago, and would sometimes bring us some home.

I can remember them, the boxes fixed together like LEGO. I'm glad I'm not the only person who can remember them....

Yes, I remember these. Like tic tacs. The boxes had lego like connectors around the side so you could stick them together. I know I should get a life, but I still have a couple of empty boxes in with my lego collection and they still smell of the sweets inside!

Yes, I have eaten them! There was even a TV advert with a song, # "Ipso, Ipso, Ipso Calypso...# " The boxes could be joined together like lego too! Three flavours I think.

For some odd reason I recently remembered these candies and the fun boxes they came in. Does anyone know if they are still in production and where to get them?

The brain is a funny thing. I only ever had these candies once: Halloween 1984. I haven't thought of them since that time until today while trick-or-treating with my neice and nephew. I was compelled to find them online and see if they were still in production. Turns out they're not, but it was fun to see all of you remember IPSO candies too.

Yeah, I remember them - in fact I just found an old packet of lemon ipso drops in my loft!
