The I LOVE LIQUORICE Wooden Box - An absolute classic. 
Do you know someone who has a serious weakness for the black stuff?  If so, I reckon this will be their dream present... it`s a stunning medium wooden box filled to the brim with a variety of scrummy liquorice sweets, from Liquorice Wands to Comfits, from the classic Mighty Imps to Catherine Wheels... they`ll think they`ve died and gone to heaven!

Each wooden box measures 25cm x 15cm x 15cm (that`s about 10"x6"x6" in old money) and the sweets inside it weigh in at a hefty 2kg.  Here are the delicious contents:

30 Jan 2013This was a present for my wife who loves liquorice and she wasn't disappointed. It comes in a wooden box which is crammed full of a fantastic assortment of liquorice. There were Catherine wheels, liquorice wands, Pontefract cakes, toffee and so much more. On opening the box the aroma of liquorice and aniseed is wonderful. I’m not a liquorice fan, but it did make my mouth water. The only downside would be the box was that full, it was difficult to close and it is now coming apart. In any case I would still give this the full 5 star rating as it was a great present.

10 Jan 2013Dad opened this for his birthday this morning and loved it. I bought him a pack of Bassetti sticks separately to give to him first as a warm up present which he was made up with, the look on his face when he opened the big box full of liquorice was priceless! Wanted to get him one for Christmas but left it a bit late once I'd seen it so figured his birthday would do. The box is brilliant, yes it's probably quite cheap wood (MDF I think) which is understandable so it's probably not something you'd keep around once you've eaten it all and I'm not sure how much more you're paying for the privilege having it all in a box and selected for you but in my opinion it's well worth it. This box was the only one I found that wasn't just a cardboard box full of liquorice allsorts with only a couple of 'retro' sweets. The box is crammed full of a large selection of classics and you struggle to get the box shut again once you've opened it due to the huge quantity stuffed in there. Delivery was quick and service was brilliant. A must have for liquorice lovers!

I bought the sweets as a Christmas present for my partner (we both love liquorice) and he couldn't believe it when he saw the gorgeous contents. Thank you, A Quarter of. Barbara Carney
