Texan Bar -- the most requested, long awaited return of the famous Texan Bar (also known as Texans) from the 70''s. Remember the Clint Eastwood style cowboy in the animated advert who used to proclaim "sure is a mighty chew" ??? Well after rumours and counter-rumours, Nestle re-released the bar - but only for a very very short time.

For anyone who has not tried one, they are milk chocolate covered chew bars. They are smaller than we remember (but then again what isn't - smaller bar or bigger hands - and mouth???). And if they are softer than you remember them to be - just stick them in the fridge for a while. They always were softer in the Summer and really chewy when the weather turned nippy - it was part of their character!

But sadly Nestle only brought them back for a month or two back in 2005 and they are now long gone -

Sadly the Texans have run out now... If we could get more in we would!
