These Maoam Stripes come in five delicious flavours - Strawberry, Apple, Raspberry, Orange, and Cherry. If you like your fruit chews to be on the firmer side (so you get a really good, long-lasting chew) then these are right up your alley!

Of course, if you prefer your Maoam sweets a little chunkier (and more of a mouthful), then we have just the solution for you. Look no further than the Haribo Maoam Fruit Bloxx

The man to thank for the genius of the Maoam goes by the name of Edmund Münster – no relation to Herman (we don’t think). He launched the innovative chew in Germany during Easter 1931. The company then ran for 55 successful years before being bought out by Haribo in 1986 and although the branding was changed as recently as 2015, the unmistakable Maoam lettering has remained virtually untouched since 1931.Long may it continue too!

These may be one of our more modern sweets, but they remain a firm favourite with both children and adults alike today.

How do you pronounce Maoam?
Other than asking Mr Münster himself, I’m not sure how we solve this one but the gener al feeling is that 'mo-am' is the correct way. Luckily for you, here at AQuarterOf.co.uk, you don’t have to try and pronounce anything. Let your mouse do the talking for you and order online with us today!

What does Maoam stand for?
Martian Atmosphere Observation and Modelling (yes really), but in the sweet world, we're afraid that Maoam doesn't stand for anything but is rather just a simple brand name that we all know and love. But why not grab a bag of Maoam sweets, or even some flying saucer sweets and read up on all things extraterrestrial.

Let's be honest, children love these sweets with their bright colours, fun mascots, and eye-catching packaging. But there's nothing to stop you from grabbing one (or two, or three) once you have bought yours from AQuarterOf.co.uk
