Ever since I saw the Return of the Jedi at the cinema, I have longed for another watermelon jawbreaker. These things came in little cardboard boxes that were designed like crates. They were dark green on the outside, red on the inside. The centre was hard packed sherbet, not bubblegum. Do they still exist? I have a notion that they were made by wonkas or some name similar but I don’t know if it was the same wonkas that make stuff today.
here’s hoping they still exist, they lasted until the battle of Endor and made me a fan of watermelon sweets for the rest of my life.
