Mary was a little girl, Mungo was a serious dog and Midge was a naughty mouse.
They all lived in a tower block and I seem to remember that the lift was quite instrumental to the whole program.
The program was narrated by Richard Baker… which was quite confusing for me when I was young since Mary, Mungo and Midge was fun… and Richard Baker used to read the News (which was a grown-up’s program and therefore boring!).
