Im looking for a sweet called treats they were a choc covered peanut in a yellow bag can you get them

At the sake of stirring up controversy, I seem to remember there were originally 3 varieties of Treats: yes, the one everyone remembers are the peanut treats in the yellow bag; there was also a chocolate saucer-shaped version in a brown bag – the forerunner of Galaxy Counters; plus there was a toffee version, shaped [...]
They were round chewy sweets in a dark packet – bit like minstrels if I remember correctly and what about a chocolate called “Banjo” it had 2 fingers and was filled with small nutty pieces. Tia
Why ever did they discontinue ‘Treats’ (I think this is the proper spelling) and replace with those awful coloured coatings around peanuts. The old Treats were much better, wasn’t it something like ‘the sweet that doesn’t melt in your hand’ – a chocolate covered peanut but crunchy coating not like the bland chocolate covered peanuts [...]

i’m in agreement with eileen i think a petition to bring back “peanut treats ” is in order they were so much nicer that tose god awful m&m’s!!!!! i’d much rather have the creamier choclate anyday , so much more moorish, i could never stop with just one bag mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm peanut treats!!!!!!!!! made by rowntree…….

The nearest thing to Treats these days are peanut M&Ms, though I remember Treats being bigger and always available in big bags at the cinema (before multiplexes in the early 80′s)

thank you thank you some say treats are just like peanut m&ms NO THAY ARE NOT they are tastier as for toffee ones i was starting to think i had imagined them,coz no one else i know can remember them
