Just wondered, whatever happened to Palm Toffee? I remember rotting my teeth on it in the 50′s. Treacle, plain toffee, banana flavoured and possibly others too. You have a wonderful website, it literally makes the taste buds active! Yours sincerely, A.B.
Can you please tell me whatever happened to the bar of Palm toffee, with banana flavoured toffee sandwiched in between two layers of buttery creamy toffee, marked into squares for easy breaking? Is there any, anywhere? Kind regards LC

My wife’s grandfather used to work for Palm Toffee, which was based in Birmingham. They closed down years ago, but he still has all the recipes, somewhere!
