Coconut Mushroom Sweet

Whatever happened to the coconut mushroom sweet, with a single peanut in the centre? They had a different flavour from the type that are currently available.. Perhaps it was the fat from the peanut! Regards B.A. North Yorkshire

    We used to stock them – made by Laurel confectionery of Crook Co Durham – did not keep well – had to be sold quickly or the coconut went rancid – which was the reason we stopped selling them – firm ceased trading about 20 years ago
