In the 50′s there were chocolate covered coconut squares ( approx 2″ square ) in a metallic wrapper, I think they may have been made by buttons. Is this something you could possibly find and supply. Even a picture of them would be great. Your help would be greatly appreciated Many thanks. Raymond
Hi can you still get Cadbury’s hazelnut whirls? (They are in the tins of Roses, but individual packs seem to have gone).
I wonder if you remember these. I have been searching for Toffee & Mallow Eggs for some time but to no avail. They were about the size of a Cadbury’s Creme Egg, but I’m sure they weren’t made by Cadbury. I would be overjoyed if you could trace them. many thanks. Melvin

Whatever Happened to…? Under “Frys Five Centres” you mention the Cadbury’s Milk Tray bar (although not by name) as being around in the ’70s. I well remember it from the ’50s (when it cost 6d!) but I don’t remember the Fry’s Five Centres….. Regards Terry
Milk Tray bar is still available in Aus – known as the snack bar – not to be confused with our version of shortcake biscuit type of snack bar

Ice Breaker? I believe it was made by Cadbury’s and appeared in the 1970′s and also disappeared later that decade. Milk Tray Bar – like Fry’s Five Centres but they were chocolates from the Milk Tray collection fused into a bar. PB

Yep, you can still get them; my wife is crazy about them although only in Ireland or USA.
I go frequently to Dublin and most shops have them.

I remember a chocolate bar, a bit like a cadbury’s flake but it was peppermint – like a peppermint aero. It was called Feathermint and was probably around in the late 50′s/early 60′s.
