Remember the advert on TV? A Clint Eastwood style cowboy in a spot of bother, captured by some sombrero wearing outlaws. One asks the cowboy, "A last request gringo?"

The cowboy asks for a Texan bar. He chews on it laconically (love that word!) and it takes him so long to eat it that the baddies fall asleep and he escapes!

"Texan... sure is a mighty chew."

Texans made a very brief, limited edition re-appearance in 2005 but we fear they have now gone for good.

Vimto Rip Roll - Remember Fizzy Vimto Belts? Well these are the same, only rolled up and contained in an individual pack (you get 4 per 150g pack). The world`s gone re-packaging mad... we wonder if the extra packaging is really necessary, but on the other hand, it does mean you can pop them into your bag/laptop case/school satchel/pencil case and it doesn`t make everything go sticky.

Each little Rip Roll is a whole metre long and tastes absolutely yummy - there`s no mistaking that delicious Vimto taste, and it`s got a brilliant fizzy bite. Talking of Vimto... did your mum used to give you hot Vimto? Do kids still have that nowadays or is it a 70s throwback?
