Texan Bar -- 2005 saw the most requested, long awaited return of the famous Texan Bar (also known as Texans) from the 70`s. Remember the Clint Eastwood style cowboy in the animated advert who used to proclaim `sure is a mighty chew` ??? Well after rumours and counter-rumours, Nestle re-released the bar - but only for a very very short time.

For anyone who hadn`t tried one, they were milk chocolate covered chew bars. They were smaller, when they came back, than we remember (but then again what isn`t - smaller bar or bigger hands - and mouth???).

They always were softer in the Summer and really chewy when the weather turned nippy - it was part of their character!  And if they are liked that extra hard chew our advice was `just stick them in the fridge for a while`!

But sadly Nestle only brought them back for a month or two back in 2005 and they haven`t returned again... yet... (ooh a cliffhanger!!!)
