| go jeanette! |
We've just found out that one of our customers is competing at the Olympics!
Jeanette Kwakye, the British 100m champ no less, stocked up with her favourites from A Quarter Of... before she headed off east. |
| How cool is that? |
| You can read more about Jeanette at the Olympics in her Daily Mirror blog here |

| whatever happened to texan bars? |
Remember the advert on TV? A Clint Eastwood style cowboy in a spot of bother, captured by some sombrero wearing outlaws. One asks the cowboy, "A last request gringo?"
The cowboy asks for a Texan bar. He chews on it laconically (love that word!) and it takes him so long to eat it that the baddies fall asleep and he escapes! |
 |
"Texan... sure is a mighty chew."
Texans made a very brief, limited edition re-appearance in 2005 but we fear they have now gone for good. |

| random trivia |
| Why are Lucky Tatties called Lucky Tatties? Easy – because in olden times, some Lucky Tatties would contain a hidden coin… sadly they no longer do (for obvious reasons!) |
