Whatever happened to... What where they called??

Do they still do it??

Milk Tray bar is still available in Aus - known as the snack bar - not to be confused with our version of shortcake biscuit type of snack bar - do you know if the mint cinder toffee covered in chocolate from the 70's is still made - can't locate it? I thought/may be wrong that it was made by something like Welch. Wrapper was green and white striped. I think they also did an orange too - cost 7p per bar when i bought them.

Help!

For years I have been trying to remember one of my favourite sweets from my childhood in the early to mid 70's.

If my mind serves me correctly, they came in a bag like Tooty Frooties, were small and round (about the size of malteesers), were hollow and sugary, with an outside like a moon landscape or a golf ball, came in various fruit flavours, were not particularly chewy, were not hard like gobstoppers and were called............... ?????

Please help and put me out of my misery.

What were they???

If I'm thinking of the same thing, we used to call them golf balls, although from what I recall, they used to come individually and were an essential part of a 10p mix.
