Whatever happened to... Moffat toffee?

Moffat Toffee

Hard boiled sweet, despite its name. Sweet and slightly sharp, toffee flavour (from Scotland!)

You can get it from the Moffat Toffee Shop or other places around the Borders. My home town, Dumfries, has plenty of newsagents that sell it - loose as well as in the gift tins!

Moffat Toffee

It was like a boiled sweet (toffee flavour) on the outside with cinder toffee on the inside. I only ever found it in Edinburgh.

It is still made in the town of moffat and sold at the Moffat Toffee store in Moffat.
