Blackcurrant and liquorice humbugs

It is triangular in shape with a three diamential shape they were around about twenty five years ago and were about two pence each then!

I have been looking for these for ages. When I was at secondary school about 25 years ago we used to go to the shop over the road I always used to buy these sweets. They were pink on the outside with a hard coating and liquorice on the inside, really yummy but I can't find them anymore.

Giant humbugs

A giant fruit flavoured humbug, almost pyramid in shape, fills the mouth, had a chewy centre. Last seen about in late 60's......

Giant humbugs

The ones I remember were huge and filled your mouth. Two flavours I loved were Golden Toffee (gold mint outside and toffee inside), and blackcurrant and licquorice (blackcurrant outside, licquorice toffee inside). Delicous...I would love to be able to buy these again.

Whatever happened to the pink humbugs?

when I was at primary school in the 1980's I used to visit the local shop and get a quarter of humbugs. Whatever happened to the pink humbugs with black chew inside which used to be very big for the mouth? Thanks DB
