They were made by MARNARDS, sold loosely (by the 1/4 and looked like large dolly mixture with different coloured layers and also slightly harder....

Empress Mixture

Large and luxurious version of Dolly Mixture. Sold by weight from jars on shelf. Used to buy from Osmonds sweet shop in Wickham Square, Wickham, Hampshire, in the late 1970's.
