i believe you...I've been claiming there was a 'Red Aero' for years. I was very young and wasn't allowed them!
so I was never sure if they were cherry, strawberry or raspberry flavour. This must have been early 80s?

Beeches Chocolates
Beeches Chocolates are so special. As you open a box of Beeches continental chocolates, your sense of smell is met by the dark chocolate coverture that surpasses all other chocolates in this category.
The last time I came across these chocolates was in a small town called Clitheroe not far from where I live. They were a 1lb box and labelled "limited edition". They do all types of ranges - mint creams/ fruit creams etc etc including chocolate brazils....

Beeches also made Violet Creams which had a little crystalised violet piece on the top. Mum often talks of them, but I don't know if this firm is still in existance. If anyone knows, can you please let me know.

Beeches creams are just scrumptious! You can still get them!! a shop near to me sold them - but went in today to buy a box each of the orange and strawberry creams and they don't sell them anymore!!! If I want them I have to do a 80 mile round trip to my nearest Dobbies Garden Centre farm shop!!!!!

It was the same as the white one apart from the filling which was brown, they should bring it back!

Chocolate
Please can you help. I was looking for chocolate I used to buy. It used to be in with the penny sweets years ago and it was a flat round shaped orange chocolate?

chocolate ones shaped like minstrels?
After recently sampling some revels after many years, I was trying to remember what the chocolate ones shaped like minstrels used to be called. I think that the packet had a picture of a giraffe or something covered in these chocolates. Someone must remember!!

Chocolate smoking sets
When I was younger we used to have chocolate smoking sets, cigars pipes etc all made from chocolate and wrapped in foil. Do you know where these are?

this was my absolute favourite on a Saturday morning cinema trip when i was little. No one believes me when I talk about the strawberry aero. I wish I could buy one from somewhere just to prove my point. Why do they always discontinue the best stuff?
