Whatever happened to... Chewits?

Fizzy Chewits

I know it's not very retro but my favourite sweet ever was fizzy chewits, particularly in lemonade flavour. I can't understand why they don't make them anymore because they were much nicer than normal ones. On a tip-off, I know have a mouthful of lemonade whilst chewing a normal chewit to try to replicate the experience.

Fizzy Chewits

I've been looking for fizzy chewits everywhere. I last spotted them 3 years ago in "migros", a wee shop in wood green but they've since been replaced by some sort of Hershey's rubbish.

would you know where I could get a fix? I've heard it through the grapevine you can get some sort of Haribo with a similar fizzy sherbet filling in the US.

I've been looking for Green Cola chewits for a lnog time- apart from me and a brief comment on a website, no one seems to know anything about them!
