Whatever happened to... Beechnut chewing gum?

Beechnut chewing gum

I had some Wrigleys Extra chewing gum the other day, and my Mum thought they were the Beechnut chewing gum as they were a similar size and shape.

If they still make it I would like to buy some for her. It would be a real blast from the past for her!
