Handmade Boiled Sweets Kilner Jar - A stunning thick glass large kilner jar filled to the brim with the most colourful, beautiful handmade boiled sweets.  It`s a big jar and makes such a lovely, traditional gift for someone really special (or for yourself if you`ve had a hard day!). 

And the best bit?  Well, once you`ve gobbled all the sweets, you can use the jar again and again and again - either with more sweets, coffee, sugar, spices, pasta, lentils, bath salts, screws, marbles, biscuits, ear buds.... I could go on for some time.  It`ll look stunning on your kitchen shelf!

We choose the sweets to make sure that there is a really good selection of different colours and flavours - and we cram in as many as we can. Officially we say that the sweets weigh about 1.2kg - but really they may weigh a fair bit more (depending on the selection)!

Each large kilner jar measures 21.5cm x 12cm x 12cm (that`s 8.5in x 4.5in x 4.5in) and weighs 2.15kg in total.  They`re brilliant!

05 Jan 2013This thing is HUGE! I am certain there is a sweet for every day of the year in this jar and whats more the jar can be used afterwards. A kaleidoscope of colours greeted me when I opened the extremely well packaged box and I felt like Charlie when he first entered Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory! Will be using this company again. First class. 
18 Dec 2012These were bought as a present so I cannot comment on the taste. However now that I have found your website I feel sure I am destined to be a regular visitor. Sorry to learn however that Spangles are now a thing of the past. Keep up the good work

06 Dec 2012excited as purhased for a xmas pressie for my future father in law and he loves his old sweets and i cant wait to see his face when he opens it on xmas day, i also was please the value of the boiled sweet jar as i know he will find a use for the jar once empty. I also went for the gift wrapped option which i am very please about as the box was also packed into another box for which was packed well for the shipping. i found what i wanted so easy on the website and saw loads of old sweets which brought back memories for me and my partner which i will be ordering in the new year as a treat for us
