Description

In 1948, Cadbury released one of our retro pocket money favourites, the famous Cadbury fudge! Supported by the famous 70s advert with the well-known 'A finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat' slogan. Did you know this tune was based on a traditional English folk song called The Lincolnshire Poacher?

'A finger o' Fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat,

A finger o' Fudge is just enough until it's time to eat,
It's full of Cadbury's goodness, and very small and neat,
A finger o' Fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat'

Brilliant!

Born from a humble grocer’s shop in 1824 the mighty Cadbury’s brand started as drinking chocolate that Mr Cadbury hand ground with a pestle and mortar. It was this quality and attention to detail that made us fall in love with Cadbury fudge as children and mean we still love it today!

Cadbury Fudge is the perfect treat. Soft, creamy vanilla fudge smothered in smooth Cadbury chocolate - despite what the advert says, we don't think just one finger of fudge is enough!

Originally called Milk Fudge before being renamed simply 'Fudge', Cadbury Fudge is a true playground classic. Can you believe that in the 1970s Cadbury Fudge was only 10p? What a bargain, we can't think of a better way we would spend our pocket money. We all know and love the purple packet and bright orange lettering which takes us right back to our childhood. Many years ago the packaging was a lovely bright red and blue - who remembers that?

Not only does Cadbury Fudge taste great but it's only 98 calories per bar and it's gluten-free so whilst it's the perfect size for small hands, it can be enjoyed by adults too!

So if you are hankering for some deliciously creamy, smooth fudge then look no further than Cadbury Fudge. A finger of fudge? We’re going to need more than that, so buy a pack of 10 today and treat yourself to a retro sweet classic.
